More details about our public tours:
- Tours are roughly one hour in length
- Tours are led by a team of knowledgeable staff and volunteers
- Our building has lift access to all floors, and we have a wheelchair onsite for those less able to stand
- Tours are aimed at those 8 year old and above – while younger guests are welcome, we ask that parents supervise them closely for their own safety and the experience of other guests
- If you have a group of 6+ people, please contact enquiries@agakhancentre.org.uk to arrange a private tour
- If you are only in London for a short time and tours are fully booked, please contact enquiries@agakhancentre.org.uk with at least 1 week’s notice and we may be able to make more space on an existing tour
School visits
‘We loved it – it was a special visit. Thank you for taking so much time to explain so much to the children. They took a huge amount away from the visit.’
Primary school groups
The Aga Kahn Centre offers a free school visits programme to Key Stage 2 groups. Students will spend a morning exploring the Islamic art and architecture of the building, engaging with our exhibition, and creating their own art based on the things they encounter.
- Approximately 2-hour visit (plus 45 min lunch time if required)
- Up to 30 students and up to 5 adults per visit
- Can take place on a selection of Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Maximum four bookings per school
To book a KS2 visit, please contact enquiries@agakhancentre.org.uk
Secondary school groups
We are happy to arrange tours and, where possible, tailor a visit to the needs of any secondary schools groups. Please contact enquiries@agakhancentre.org.uk to discuss this further.

‘Thank-you so much for giving the children such a fantastic day. They really enjoyed it and have been talking about it ever since – unusually – and not just about having seen the Arsenal stadium! ’
