Re-Introduction of Public Tours Programme at Aga Khan Centre

We are delighted to announce the re-introduction of our Public Tours Programme will commence with our participation in this year’s https://open-city.org.uk/open-house event.

You will appreciate, our building has been closed to the public during the pandemic lockdowns. So with this in mind, we will be operating limited access to the building, to ensure the re-introduction of the Tours Programme is undertaken with care and consideration.

This is because, the safety and well-being of our personnel, visitors and members of the local community is of the utmost importance to us, therefore all visitors must follow our social distancing and safe-guarding measures. Face covering, contact registration for track and trace and temperature checks will be mandatory. Advance online ticket booking must be made otherwise no entry will be permitted.  Please ensure you have read this information before making your booking.

In the first instance, we are offering limited Tours as part of Open House 2021 on the following dates and times:

  • Saturday 4 September 10am – 5pm (hourly ticket of up to 10 visitors with last entry at 4pm)
  • Wednesday 8 September 4pm – 7pm (hourly ticket of up to 10 visitors with last entry at 6pm)
  • Saturday 11 September 10am – 5pm (hourly ticket of up to 10 visitors with last entry at 4pm)

Please note, when making your booking, you must include the names of everyone you are making a booking for. You cannot make a booking for yourself and then bring a guest with you. All names must be registered at the time of booking the number of tickets you wish to purchase. We apologise, at present, we cannot accommodate children aged five years and below.

Further weekly Tours for the months of September and October 2021 will be added very soon.

We look forward to hosting a fuller Tours programme from Spring 2022. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to the Aga Khan Centre in the near future.
